Past: Drawing at Battersea Power Station

Our next Drawing Escapes meet up will be at Battersea Power Station on Saturday 6th April.
Join Martyn Blundell and me for a few hours of relaxed social drawing, followed by a drink and a discussion of the day’s work. It’s a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
We’ll meet at 1.30pm on the North Side of Battersea Power Station, alongside the Thames (the yellow cross on the map).
We hope to be drawing out on the riverside with views back to the iconic building and across the Thames (the area circled in purple on the map). So pack a sketchbook and whatever you like to draw with. There are some public benches but seating can be limited, so you may want to bring something to sit on if you wish to sit on the grass. Note the meeting spot is about a 10-15 min walk from Battersea Power Station Tube Station.
Please RSVP so we can update you with a new meeting/ drawing spot if the weather takes a turn for the worse!
We’ll regroup around 4pm for a drink and a discussion of our drawings. Please RSVP to give us an idea of numbers to book for a drink afterwards.
