Join us for
our next Drawing Escapes meet up at the V&A museum on Saturday 16th November.
Pack a sketchbook and gallery-friendly drawing materials and come enjoy an afternoon drawing in the galleries. Martyn Blundell and I will be hosting an afternoon of relaxed drawing, followed by a drink and a discussion of the day’s work (finishing up around 4 or 5pm). What better way is there to spend a Saturday!
We’ll meet at 1.30pm in the Medieval & Renaissance, Room 50a (see How To Find below). We’ll spend the afternoon drawing around the Cast courts and surrounding galleries.
HOW TO FIND THE MEETING POINT
From Cromwell Road Entrance (blue arrow): Walk straight so you enter the Dome, with the gift shop in front of you. The gallery will be on the right.
From Tunnel Entrance (green arrow): Walk through the Sculpture Gallery until you reach the gift shop on your right. Walk all the way through the gift shop until you reach the dome, with the Cromwell Road Entrance in front of you. The gallery will be on your left.
There should be chairs available for people to use while drawing. Please ensure you bring gallery-friendly drawing materials.
All are welcome, from beginners to experienced artists. The event is free, though if you do plan on coming, please do RSVP. You can either drop me a DM on Instagram, email me or fill in the Drawing Escapes contact form. Hope you can make it!
