Drawing at the V&A

Join us for
our next Drawing Escapes meet up at the V&A museum on Saturday 24th January.
Pack a sketchbook and gallery-friendly drawing materials and enjoy an afternoon of relaxed drawing in the galleries with me and Martyn Blundell.
We’ll meet at 1.30pm on Level 2 in the Sacred Silver & Stained Glass galleries, Rooms 83 & 84 (see ‘How To Find’ below). We’ll spend the afternoon drawing around the Level 2 galleries, including Silver, Tapestries and Jewellery.
We will regroup around 4pm to share the drawings we’ve created, before heading somewhere local for a drink.
All are welcome, from beginners to experienced artists. The event is free, please RSVP if you plan on coming. You can either drop me a DM on Instagram, email me or fill in the Drawing Escapes contact form.
HOW TO FIND THE MEETING POINT
We will meet on the Level 2 floor in the Sacred Silver & Stained Glass galleries, Rooms 83 & 84. (See yellow area on the Level 2 Map below, and the image of the gallery)
You will need to take the stairs nearest to the cafe or the gift shop. (See Level 0 Map below)
From Cromwell Road Entrance: Walk straight ahead and through the gift shop. Turn right in the Sculpture gallery and take the stairs.
From Tunnel Entrance: Walk straight through the Sculpture Gallery until you reach the stairs.
There should be chairs available for people to use while drawing. Please ensure you bring gallery-friendly drawing materials.
